This Privacy Policy explains how KRAFIT TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED (“Niyam”, “we”, “us” or “our”), the owner and operator of the Niyam Markets platform, collects, uses, stores, shares and protects your information when you use our website, applications and services (the “Platform”). We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules thereunder, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as and when its provisions come into force.    • Account & identity data: name, email address, mobile number, and authentication details such as passwords (stored in hashed form) and OTPs.
   • Broker integration data: API keys, tokens and broker credentials required to connect your trading account. These are encrypted at rest and used only to provide the Services.
   • Trading & usage data: orders, positions, strategies, algo configurations, backtests, watchlists, P&L data and activity logs generated through your use of the Platform.
   • Payment data: subscription, wallet and transaction records. Card and banking details are handled by our payment partners; we do not store full card numbers.
   • Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, cookies, and diagnostic logs.
2. How We Collect Information
   • Directly from you when you register, connect a broker, subscribe or contact support.
   • Automatically as you interact with the Platform (logs, cookies and similar technologies).
   • From third parties such as your broker (via authorised APIs), payment processors and authentication providers (e.g. Google sign-in).
3. How We Use Your Data
   • To provide, operate, maintain and improve the Platform and its features.
   • To authenticate you, connect your broker, and execute the actions, algos and signals you configure.
   • To process subscriptions, wallet top-ups and usage-based charges.
   • To provide customer support and respond to your requests and grievances.
   • To send service updates, security alerts and, where permitted, offers (you may opt out of marketing).
   • To monitor, detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents, and to comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal Basis & Consent
   • We process your data based on your consent, the performance of our contract with you (these Services), our legitimate business interests, and compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
   • You may withdraw consent for non-essential processing at any time, which may limit certain features.
5. Broker Credentials & Security Architecture
   • Broker API credentials and secrets are encrypted and are redacted from our interfaces and logs wherever displayed.
   • Each user is assigned a dedicated static IP for broker API access, isolating sessions in line with SEBI’s expectations for API-based trading.
   • We apply access controls, encryption in transit (TLS) and other safeguards to protect your data.
6. How We Share & Disclose Data
   • Brokers: to connect your account and route the orders you authorise.
   • Payment processors: to process payments securely.
   • Service providers: hosting, infrastructure, analytics and communications partners who act on our instructions under confidentiality obligations.
   • Legal & regulatory: where required by law, regulation, court order, or a lawful request from an authority such as SEBI or the exchanges.
   • We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their own marketing.
7. Cookies & Tracking
   • We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences (such as theme), and understand usage to improve the Platform.
   • You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.
8. Data Retention
   • We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services.
   • We may retain certain records for longer where required for legal, tax, accounting, audit, or dispute-resolution purposes, after which data is deleted or anonymised.

    • The Platform is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

    • We maintain reasonable security practices and procedures. In the event of a data breach affecting your information, we will take appropriate steps and notify you and the relevant authorities where required by law.
